RE/MAX TO Franchise in Hungary

May 31--Franchising for RE/MAX in Hungary will begin soon as the region has been purchased by Balázs Posta and Bence Kesthely who will serve as co-region owners and regional directors.

Posta has worked numerous years in the real estate industry as a developer or in the mortgage business. His most recent position was as director of real estate developments for one of the more exclusive real estate developments in Budapest. He attended Pestszentlőrinczi Business College and later majored in finance at Szent István University Business and Entrepreurial Academy. 

Kesthely, who is fluent in Fluent in English, German, and Hungarian, has worked both in commercial real estate and in the commercial printing industry.  He holds a bachelor of arts in international management from Pepperdine University and an H.S. Diploma from American International School of Budapest. 

"The quality of services provided by the majority of real estate agencies and agents in Hungary is below average,” commented Kesthely.  “That is why Balázs and I bought the master franchise for Hungary. Our primary objective is introducing the quality and professionalism that RE/MAX has to offer to this region."

Hungary, which is located in central Europe, northwest of Romania, held its first multi-party elections in 1990 and initiated a free market economy, joined NATO in 1999 and the EU in 2004.  Its population is 9.9 million and the capital city is Budapest.
